How long does Cialis last?

How long does Cialis last?

Many people consider taking Cialis (tadalafil) ask: "How long does Cialis last"

The answer depends on several factors and can vary between individuals.
But in most people is Cialis last for about 36 hours.

In previous studies, the effects of Cialis by comparing people who took Viagra forpeople to take a sugar pill measured. These studies measure the proportion ofsuccessful intercourse attempts mg to 24 hours and 36 hours for the participants a sugar pill, 10 mg Viagra and Cialis 20th

After 24 hours, successful attempts have been observed in:
42 percent lower than the sugar pill
56 percent taking Cialis 10 mg
67 percent taking Cialis 20 mg.

In 36 hours successful attempts have been observed in:
33 percent lower than the sugar pill
56 percent taking Cialis 10 mg
62 percent taking Cialis 20 mg.

The time varies for Cialis to work well, depending on the person. In clinical studies,Cialis starts working in just 30 minutes. For most people, however, began to work in an hour.

Factors Affecting How Long Cialis Will Last

There are a number of factors that can increase or decrease how long Cialis lasts. Some factors that increase the amount of time Cialis stays in the body include severe kidney disease or liver disease (such ascirrhosis) and certain other medicines.

Cialis Dosage in People With Kidney or Liver Disease

Cialis Dosage in People With Kidney or Liver Disease

For people with moderate kidney disease, the recommended starting Cialis dosage is 5 mg. You should not take more than 10 mg in any 48-hour period. For people with severe kidney disease, the maximum recommended daily dosage is Cialis 5 mg in any 72-hour period.
The maximum dosage for people with mild or moderate liver disease is 10 mg once a day. People with severe liver disease should not take Cialis.

What Dose of Cialis Is Prescribed for Erectile Dysfunction?

The recommended starting dose for treatingerectile dysfunction is Cialis 10 mg, taken one hour prior to sexual activity. However, you may take the medication anywhere from 1 hour to 36 hours before sexual activity. Depending on how well it works and whether you experience any side effects, your healthcare provider may increase or decrease your Cialis dosage. The maximum dose is 20 mg.

Alternatively, Cialis can be taken on a daily basis (every single day, whether you plan sexual activity or not). For this use, the recommended dose is Cialis 2.5 mg once daily, taken at the same time each day (it does not matter when you plan to have sexual activity if you take Cialis this way). If the 2.5-mg daily dosage does not seem to be working well enough, your healthcare provider may increase the Cialis dose to 5 mg every day.

Cialis vs Viagra - which one is right for you?

Cialis basically works in the same way as Viagra, but with some small differences.
Both treatments increase blood flow to the penis enabling a man to achieve an erection around 30 minutes after ingestion. Most men report that CIALIS has reduced side effects and the best thing about Cialis vs Viagra is that it's effective for up to 36 hours whilst VIAGRA lasts for just 4 hours. The only true way of knowing which one would suit you best, however is to try them both.

And as with Viagra, potential side effects of Cialis include back pain and muscle aches. Both these male impotence drugs have restrictions. They should not be used by men with a high risk of heart attack or stroke, or by men taking certain medications, including those for angina or hypertension.

Both of the medications require a doctor's prescription. Many GPs are prepared to issue a private prescription for Cialis and Viagra though they usually charge a private consultation fee. If you have a problem deciding which treatment to take, please take a look at the reasons for impotence and the treatments recommended for each.

An important thing to remember is that you don't have to choose between the treatments in the long term. You can choose both Viagra and Cialis and alternate between them depending on your requirements. As both treatments essentially have the same active ingredient, if you are approved for one, you are generally approved for both. Both Viagra and Cialis have different characteristics and many people find it useful to have a choice of which one to take at any given time - for example, Viagra over the course of the week and Cialis over a weekend or on holiday when time is not so much of an issue.

What Are the Possible Side Effects of CIALIS?

The most common side effects with CIALIS are:
headache, indigestion, back pain, muscle aches, flushing, and stuffy or runny nose. These side effects usually go away after a few hours. Men who get back pain and muscle aches usually get it 12 to 24 hours after taking CIALIS. Back pain and muscle aches usually go away within 2 days. Call your healthcare provider if you get any side effect that bothers you or one that does not go away.
Uncommon but serious side effects include:
An erection that won't go away: If you get an erection lasting more than 4 hours, seek immediate medical help to avoid long-term injury.
In rare instances, men taking prescription ED tablets, including CIALIS, reported a sudden decrease or loss of vision or hearing (sometimes with ringing in the ears and dizziness). It’s not possible to determine if these events are related directly to the ED tablets or to other factors. If you have a sudden decrease or loss of vision or hearing, stop taking any ED tablet, including CIALIS and call your doctor right away.

Important Safety Information for Cialis (tadalafil) tablets

Do not take Cialis if you are allergic to tadalafil, or if you are also using a nitrate drug for chest pain or heart problems, including nitroglycerin (Nitrostat, Nitrolingual, Nitro-Dur, Nitro-Bid, Minitran, Deponit, Transderm-Nitro), isosorbide dinitrate (Dilatrate-SR, Isordil, Sorbitrate), and isosorbide mononitrate (Imdur, ISMO, Monoket), or recreational drugs such as amyl nitrate or nitrite ("poppers"). Taking Cialis with a nitrate medicine can cause a sudden and serious decrease in blood pressure.
If you become dizzy or nauseated during sexual activity, or if you have pain, numbness, or tingling in your chest, arms, neck, or jaw, stop and call your doctor right away. You could be suffering from a serious side effect of this medicine.
Do not take Cialis more than once a day. Allow 24 hours to pass between doses. Contact your doctor or seek emergency medical attention if your erection is painful or lasts longer than 4 hours. A prolonged erection (priapism) can damage the penis.
Cialis can decrease blood flow to the optic nerve of the eye, causing sudden vision loss. This has occurred in a small number of people taking Cialis, most of whom also had heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or certain pre-existing eye problems, and in those who smoke or are over 50 years old. It is not clear whether Cialis is the actual cause of vision loss.
Stop using Cialis and get emergency medical help if you have sudden vision loss.

What is Cialis?

Cialis (tadalafil) relaxes muscles and increases blood flow to particular areas of the body.
Cialis is used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) in men. Adcirca, another brand of tadalafil, is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension and improve exercise capacity in men and women.
Cialis may also be used for purposes other than those listed in this medication guide.
